I was someone deeply in my ego, and I was actually proud of it. I used to chase symbols of success for validation, even though I wasn't truly successful. Before my awakening, I was part of a private mentorship group - fancy way of saying a 'scam'. Although I didn't agree with the business practices, I loved the mindset.
When COVID hit, my world turned upside down, and I realized everything I believed was a lie. My ego went into overdrive as I dove into spirituality.
I thought I was better than everyone because I was "doing the work," but in reality, I was just saying that to feel superior.
I worked with countless healers and mentors, investing over $100,000 in personal development. Some were incredible, but others just fed my ego without challenging me. I grew tired of my own excuses and lack of real progress. Despite temporary relief from sessions with healers, I would always fall back into a victim mindset.
I held onto irrelevant past issues because my ego was so deeply conditioned. Eventually, I took a hard look at myself and realized I was playing the victim. By developing my intuition, I began to unlearn my ego and shift my consciousness.
I saw a huge gap in both the spirituality and personal development spaces, as neither fully addressed ego work. Many spiritual healers have huge egos, and many coaches are out of touch with their intuition and moral compass. This realization drove me to blend these worlds, highlighting the importance of ego work in true personal and spiritual growth.
